Your Roadmap to Recovery

A Recommended Course Sequence from Hope & Freedom University

About the Journey

Recovery from sex addiction and betrayal trauma is not a single event—it’s a journey. And like any journey, it helps to have a map.

At Hope & Freedom University, we’re building a full catalog of trauma-informed, expert-developed courses to walk with you through every phase of recovery—from the very first steps of survival all the way to long-term growth, healing, and freedom.

This course sequence is designed to help individuals struggling with problematic sexual behavior, betrayed partners, and couples in recovery know what to focus on and when.

Whether you’re just beginning or looking to take the next step, our growing library of resources offers the structure, guidance, and support you need at your own pace.

Where to Begin

Most individuals who arrive at Hope & Freedom find themselves in the Survival Phase of recovery, which focuses on stabilizing your emotions, understanding your situation, and taking the first steps toward safety and clarity.

Sex Addiction 101

We recommend that all individuals begin with Sex Addiction 101, which provides you with a strong foundation of understanding about what it is that you’re facing and what it will take to recover.
